New Cheese Plate ~ that Galentine’s plate
Book of the Month

I thought I’d share a second cheese plate that I created from June’s Book of The Month: That Cheese Plate Wants to Party. It was for a small happy hour gathering on Friday night (small plate serves 3-4). I happened to have a heart shaped platter so I thought I would try to put this one together. This is good for happy hour with a friend or even Valentine’s Day!
I forgot to buy thyme for garnish. I also used a little bit of honey instead of the fresh honeycomb. I made a few other substitutions, for example Brie instead of Camembert. I didn’t have a cute small pink heart dish, but since my patter was small, I had just enough room for the ingredients.
I think I will purchase a heart and ghost cookie cutter from Amazon for future brie cutouts.

Hosting tip: One tip I’ve learned from Google is that Brie should be out of the refrigerator for approximately one hour before serving so it will be soft.
