Shine Shine Shine by Lydia Netzer is a quirky, clever novel.  It is a slightly exaggerated story about a family that is not, ‘normal’.  Maybe I should say each member is ‘special’.  It’s a story about fitting in or not fitting in, change, and adaptation.
Joshilyn Jackson (who is a bestselling author in her own right) did a good job narrating this novel.
I’d like to say that Netzer’s cadence in this story is particularly interesting.  This may also be a credit to narrator, Jackson.

It sounds different, and interesting, to me. I think I’ve heard of it before but it slipped under my radar. I don’t listen to audiobooks though, so I’m wondering if the attraction to the story was more because of the narration by Ms. Jackson or the story itself. Thanks for sharing, Pat.
I wonder did Joshilyn Jackson somehow contribute to the cadence – I enjoy her reading her own books. I didn’t realise she narrates other authors as well. And the man is off to the moon. Tut tut!

This sounds like an audio book I’d enjoy listening to., narrated by another author who’s work I’m interested in! 🙂
Now that I know Joshilyn narrates the book, I may listen instead of read. I feel bad when I do that and ignore the book on the shelves.
